Publication Schedule Policy

METHOMIKA: Jurnal Manajemen Informatika & Komputerisasi Akuntansi is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published by Universitas Methodist Indonesia. The journal maintains a regular publication schedule to support the timely dissemination of scientific research and technological innovation.

This policy provides information on the journal's publication frequency, scheduled publication periods, manuscript processing, editorial scheduling, and publication procedures.

1. Publication Frequency

Each volume represents one calendar year and consists of two regularly scheduled issues. The actual publication date is recorded on the respective issue page in the journal's Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.

2. Annual Publication Calendar

Publication months indicate the journal's regular schedule. Exact publication dates may vary according to editorial and production requirements.

3. Manuscript Submission

Manuscripts are submitted electronically through the official METHOMIKA OJS platform whenever the submission system is open. Authors should consult the journal website for current submission availability and applicable announcements.

Authors are required to comply with the journal's Focus and Scope, Author Guidelines, manuscript template, plagiarism requirements, and publication ethics policies. Submission of a manuscript does not guarantee publication in the nearest scheduled issue.

4. Editorial and Peer Review Timeline

Submitted manuscripts undergo editorial screening and peer review before a publication decision is made.

All durations are estimates, not guaranteed processing deadlines. Manuscripts requiring additional revision or review may take longer.

5. Manuscript Acceptance and Issue Assignment

Manuscripts that successfully complete editorial assessment and peer review may receive a formal acceptance decision. Accepted manuscripts subsequently proceed to copyediting, layout preparation, proofreading, and publication scheduling.

The editorial team considers the order of completed and accepted manuscripts, their readiness for publication, and the journal's issue planning when assigning articles to a scheduled issue.

The Journal Manager coordinates publication scheduling in accordance with the journal's editorial procedures. Acceptance does not guarantee publication in a specific issue or on a specific date.

6. Publication Delays and Schedule Changes

METHOMIKA aims to maintain a consistent publication schedule. However, delays may occur due to extended peer review, additional manuscript revisions, publication ethics investigations, technical difficulties, or other circumstances affecting editorial and production processes.

When substantial changes to the publication schedule are necessary, the editorial office should provide relevant information through official journal announcements or direct communication with affected authors.

7. Published Issues and Archives

Published issues are made available through the journal's online archive. Each issue includes bibliographic information and links to its published scholarly articles.

Full English Publication Policy

Effective from Volume 11, Number 1 (April 2027), all manuscripts intended for publication in METHOMIKA must be written entirely in English. Editorial correspondence, reviewer reports, author responses, and scholarly discussions throughout the publication process must also be conducted in English.
