This study analyzes the influence of work ability and interpersonal communication on employee performance, with organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) serving as a moderating variable, at the Lubuklinggau Timur I District Office, Lubuklinggau City. The study employs a quantitative approach utilizing simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) designs. The sample consists of 58 employees, with data collected via a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed through Google Forms. The results show an R-squared value (coefficient of determination) of 0.338, indicating that work ability and interpersonal communication explain 33.8% of the variance in employee performance. The remaining 68.2% is influenced by variables not examined in this study. The calculated F-value (F-count) is 12.818, which exceeds the F-table value of 3.17, and the simultaneous significance level is 0.000, which is less than the alpha (α) of 0.05; thus, work ability and interpersonal communication have a significant influence on employee performance at the Lubuklinggau Timur I District Office. Regarding the interaction between work ability and OCB, the significance value is 0.781 (> 0.05), leading to the conclusion that OCB does not moderate the effect of work ability on employee performance. Similarly, the interaction between interpersonal communication and OCB yields a significance value of 0.624 (> 0.05), leading to the conclusion that OCB does not moderate the effect of interpersonal communication on employee performance.
