ANALISIS KONTRIBUSI USAHA AGRIBISNIS TANAMAN HIAS DALAM PENINGKATKAN PENDAPATAN PETANI DAN PENGEMBANGAN WILAYAH

Abstract

Development of decorative plants is hoped to open the vacancy, to increase the income of farmers, to add the devisa and to open the chance for growth of production facility, secondary product and transportation service. The goal of research is to know analyze 1. Factors effecting the income of decorative plant farmers, 2. Contribution of decorative plant agribusiness on income farmers and 3. Contribution of decorative plant agribusiness on regional development. This research uses the sample of 30 farmers. Farmers are located in Bangun Sari and Bangun Sari Villages. The research is conducted by survey and using the questionnaire. The data of research gained is analyzed with Multiplier Linear Regression method and descriptive analysis. The result of research indicated the income of decorative plant farmers is simultaneously effected by capital, labor,and  experience of management and the expectation of market preference. Partially, variables of labor and experience have significant effect on income of decorative plant of market preference has no significant effect on income of farmers. The existence of decorative plant centre in subdistrict of Tanjung Morawa caused the increase of infrastructures in the region particularly the infrastructure of the road. The decorative plant agribusiness gives the contribution in development of informal sector in the area of research namely the sector of transportation and supply of production facility of agriculture, but this decorative plant afribusiness can not give the significant contribution to pure regional income.
