Abstract

Code mixing is a linguistic condition where speakers mix two or more languages by inserting the elements of one language into another, in which those inserted elements do not possess their own functions anymore. Code mixing takes some forms which could be in the form of words, phrases, basters, repetition of words, idioms, as well as clauses.
