KEMATIAN AKIBAT KEKERASAN TAJAM PADA DADA YANG MENEMBUS JANTUNG

Abstract

Sharp trauma is an injury resulting in wounds on the surface of the body by sharp objects. Sharp trauma comprosised three forms of wounds, namely incised wounds  (vulnus scissum), stab wounds (vulnus punctum), and chopped (vulnus caesum). Cardiac injury is damage caused to the heart which is not congenital or degenerative in nature but caused by impact/physical collision from the outside which can reduce or change the consciousness and lead to cognitive abilities, physical function, and death. In this case report, a known male corpse is known, suffered several wounds due to injury blunt neck outside the right, the violence sharply injury on the left elbow and left chest which penetrated the heart. The cause of death of the victim was due to sharp injury on the left chest penetrating the left ventricle of the heart resulting in massive bleeding.
