Abstrak

Background: Tinea corporis is a fungal infection of the skin smooth (glabrous skin) in the area of the face,
neck, torso, arms, legs and gluteal fungal dermatophytes Trichophyton species, Epidermophyton,
microsporus. Indonesia Geographic Conditions are to the equator with temperatures and high humidity will
facilitate the growth of fungi that infections due to fungi commonly found in Indonesia. Data regarding the
number of patients with tinea corporis in Pontianak many as 604 cases, Dr Haji Adam Malik by the number
of 2,572 cases of skin diseases are Tinea corporis 572 cases.
Methods: This study is a descriptive retrospective section Medical Records Hospital Dr. Pirngadi in kurn
time in 2014.
Results : These samples included 45 samples were selected with a total sampling technique. Of the samples
taken maing the data brupa age, jnis sex, occupation and diagnosis supporting KOH 10%. Patients with tinea
corporis in 2014, most age is 56-65 years (24.4%) and the least at the age of 6-11 years (2.2%). Gender
largest at prempuan (57.8%) and least in men (42.2%), the most work on civil servants (33.3%) and the least
in the driver (2.2%), diagnosis supporting KOH 10% majority in the hyphae (-) and spores (-) (40%) and least
hyphae (+) spores (-) (2.2%).
Conclusion: Based on this study it can be concluded that patients with tinea corporis in 2014 according to
most age at 56-65 years (24.4%) is greatest in women (57.8%) with the highest employment in the number of
civil servants (33.3 %) and investigations are used KOH 10% with the highest results hyphae (-) spores (-)
(40%).
