Article Processing Charges (APC)

Jurnal Kedokteran Methodist (JKM) is committed to disseminating medical research as widely as possible. As part of our mission to support the academic community, we implement a no-fee policy for all contributors.

1. Free Submission

Authors are not required to pay a Submission Fee as part of the submission process. There are no charges for the initial editorial review or the coordination of the peer-review process.

2. Free Publication (No APC)

If a manuscript is accepted for publication after a rigorous peer-review process, there are no Article Processing Charges (APC). This includes:

• Article Processing: Copyediting, typesetting, and professional layout.

• Open Access: Making the full-text article freely available online (PDF and HTML) immediately upon publication.

• Long-term Archiving: Ensuring the manuscript is digitally preserved in the journal's database and OJS repository.

3. No Hidden Costs

There are no additional charges for:

• The inclusion of color figures or illustrations.

• Extended word counts (within reasonable limits according to the Author Guidelines).

• Fast-track reviews (as all manuscripts are processed with the same priority and standard).

4. Hardcopy Requests (Optional)

While the digital version of the journal is provided free of charge under our Open Access policy, authors or institutions who require printed (hardcopy) editions of the journal may be charged for printing and shipping costs. Please contact the Editorial Office for further information regarding hardcopy availability.
