GAMBARAN CEDERA KEPALA PADA KORBAN MENINGGAL AKIBAT KECELAKAAN LALU LINTAS DI INSTALASI KEDOKTERAN FORENSIK DAN MEDIKOLEGAL RSUD DR. PIRNGADI MEDAN TAHUN 2014-2015

Abstract

Background : Head Injury is caused by infact of solid objects like stone, wood, ball, hammer, fall from
height, traffic accident, and etc. traffic accident, can lead to secondary injury. This study aim to find out the
features of head injury victims due to traffic accident, in the department of forensic medicine, RSUD Dr.
Pirngadi Hospital Medan 2014-2015.
Methods : This is a descriptive study, sample 60 total sampling. Data from medical report (Visum et
repertum) and procecessed to find out features of head injury based intracranial bleeding, age and gender.
Data collected from secondary from medical report and analysed manually.
Results : The results showed that head injury cases of the death victim in traffic accident in 2014-2015,
Intracerebral bleeding 28 person (46,66%), Age 21-30 years 15 person (21,66%) and males 48 person (80%).
Conclusion : It is concluded that head injury coss intracranial bleeding from 2014-2015 intracerebral
bleeding majority of causes followed by age 21-30 years and male.
