Abstract

Background: Based on literature review research on the characteristics of pulmonary Tuberculosis sufferers, namely gender, age, occupation, education level, family history, laboratory examination and Body Mass Index are variables that affect pulmonary tuberculosis. This is supported by previous research which shows that these variables are a sign of pulmonary Tuberculosis sufferers. Most of the research results state that men suffer from pulmonary TB disease more than women. Laboratory examination of sputum BTA (+) also shows that this examination is an accurate test to detect pulmonary Tuberculosis bacterial infection. Pulmonary Tuberculosis sufferers also tend to have a decreased Body Mass Index.

Methods: This study is a study using the literature study method or literature review. Data obtained from secondary data using documentation techniques. Data documentation is carried out based on journals related to research variables.

Results: The research journals used were 6 journals that had been identified and met the inclusion and exclusion criteria.

Conclusion: There is an association between the level of knowledge and parental precautions against the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers.
