Abstract

Background: Dengue hemorrhagic fever is an infection caused by the mosquito-mediated dengue virus, which is aedes aegypti and aedes albopictus. These two mosquito species belong to the Flaviviridae species, which is Flavivirus genus with Den-1, Den-2, Den-3, Den-4. Aedes Aegypti as the main factor of domestics mosquito in the cities area, living inside and surround the houses. Aedes albopictus as a secondary factor living and reproducing in gardens and bushes in villages area.

Methods: The research was conducted using a literature review method that focuses on the results of writing which is related to the comparative relationship between decreased platelets and leukocytes in several serotypes of dengue hemorrhagic fever for children. Through the search for accredited journal sites such as Google Scholar, Google, and Pubmed, within 2016 - 2021.

Conclusion: From a literature study on the relationship bwtween decreased platelets and leukocytes in various serotypes of dengue hemoraghic fever, it was found from the results of research in several journals so that it can be concluded that there is a significant reletionship of decrease in the number of platelets in various serotypes of dengue hemorhagic fever. Meanwhile, the results of research in several journla does not have a significant relentionship beetwen the decrease in the number of leukocytes with various serotypes of dengue hemoragic fever.
