Abstract

Diabetic ulcers or also referred to as diabetic foot ulcers are disorders of the inferior extremities of the body that begin with an open wound on diabetic ulcers or also referred to as diabetic foot ulcers are disorders of the inferior extremities of the body that begin with an open wound on. The purpose of this study was to analyze how the relationship of predictor factors (hb, leukocytes, platelets, LDL, HbA1c, D-dimer, Albumin) to the severity of diabetic ulcer patients at Dr. Pirngadi Hospital Medan City. The type of research used in this study was analytic research with a cross sectional design. The instrument used in this study is data in the form of secondary data from the medical records section at RSUD Dr. Pirngadi Medan City. The results of the proportion test with the Chi-square correlation test showed a relationship between hemoglobin (pvalue of 0.007), the relationship between leukocytes (p-value of 0.002), the relationship between platelets (p-value of 0.004), the relationship between LDL (p-value of 0.028), the relationship between HbA1C (p-value of 0.022), the relationship between D-dimer (pvalue of 0.020), the relationship between albumin (p-value of 0.047) with the degree of diabetic ulcers. It is hoped that the community can pay more attention to factors that can affect the severity of the degree of diabetic ulcers.
