Abstract

Acute lymphocytic leukemia is one of a type of acute disease called leukemia. It is also can be called as ALL. "Acute" means that the disease will usually get worse more quickly if left not treated. ALL is a type of cancer that generally occurs in childrens age. In several case, it can affect adults also. The bone marrow produces so many lymphocytes, which is a type of white blood cell in this case. These cells normally use to help your body fight infection-causing agents. But with ALL diseases, they are abnormal and cannot fight infection very well. They also get rid of healthy cells, which can cause infections, anemia, and easy get bleeding. These abnormal cells also can spread to other parts of the body, including the brain and spinal cord.
