Data was gathered through the process of studying and learning inside the classroom. The writer recorded and identified the data and took notes from the beginning until the end of the class. The data collection was done in one meeting a week and it took 60 minutes long. The result from transcription shows that there were three types of code-mixing used by students in the learning process, namely (1) insertion, (2) alternation and (3) congruent lexicalization.
