Abstract

This study aims to evaluate student satisfaction with the Spotify music streaming application by examining two primary factors: service quality and music content. Using a quantitative survey approach, data were collected from university students who actively use Spotify for digital music consumption. The findings reveal that most respondents perceive Spotify as easy to use (66.7%) and visually appealing (70.4%). Furthermore, users reported that Spotify’s features enhance their listening experience (72.2%) and that the audio quality is satisfactory (64.8%). However, a notable proportion of respondents still experience errors or disturbances while using the application (57.4%). Music recommendations are generally viewed as suitable for users’ moods (57.4%), and the ability to discover new songs through recommendations is considered helpful by 55.6% of respondents. Overall satisfaction levels reached only 50%, indicating that Spotify has not fully met user expectations. These results highlight the need for improvements in service quality, system stability, and recommendation accuracy to enhance overall user satisfaction among students.
