ANALISIS PENGARUH PERUBAHAN HARGA BAHAN BAKAR MINYAK PREMIUM DAN SOLAR DI KOTA MEDAN

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze changes of fuel price change to inflation in Medan City. The data used in this study is secondary data sources from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) Medan City and Bank Indonesia Report Year 2002 - 2016. The analysis model used with Multiple Linier Regression Analysis processed with SPSS v 17. The result of this research is obtained by partial change of price of premium have positive and significant influence to inflation rate in Medan City. While the change of solar price have positive and insignificant effect to inflation rate in Medan City and simultaneously change of price of premium and diesel price have significant influence to inflation rate in Medan city. Changes in premium and diesel prices could explain the change in inflation rate of 82.0 percent. The rest is influenced by other factors
