The writer collects the data from the volume II of the Book as the source. The writer used the theory from Thomas, W.R. and F.J. Wright (1937). The writer used the qualitative method with a descriptive approach. A qualitative approach is defined as a description of observations, which is not ordinarily expressed in quantitative terms. Through the data analysis we can find the result that figures of speech used in the Book of Psalms-Volume II is metaphor the highest and followed by simile and personification.
