Abstract

This study explores the moral values embedded in the movie script The Pirate Fairy by Tea Orsi. Using a qualitative descriptive method, the research aims to identify the types and characteristics of moral values presented through the characters' dialogues and actions. The analysis is based on the theory of moral values by Linda and Eyre and the characteristics of moral values by K. Bertens. The findings indicate that several types of moral values, such as bravery, honesty, and loyalty, are prevalent in the script. These values are characterized by responsibility and pure-heartedness, providing educational insights for the audience regarding good and bad human conduct.
