Abstract

In conducting research, the location which the office of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Unit Bah Butong, Sidamanik District, Simalungun Regency. When the research was carried out in December 2020 until the research was completed. The population in this study were permanent employees of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Unit Bah Butong, totaling 447 people. Determination of the sample size in this study using the Slovin formula so that the number of samples becomes 82 people. The research instrument used a questionnaire and data analysis using multiple linear regression. The results showed F count 43.112 and the value of Sig. is 0.000. It is known that the value of F count 43.112> F table 2.72 and the value of Sig is 0.000 <0.05, so training, development together or simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance. This is indicated by the value of the coefficient of determination (R-Square) is 0.522. This value can be interpreted that the training variable, development is able to affect employee performance by 52.2%, the remaining 100% - 52.2% = 47.8% is explained by other variables or factors.
