The Maubesi Community Health Center is one of the health services centers in Maubesi Village which serves a number of six surrounding villages. Given that many patients are making use of this health center, the service quality of the medical staff is of course quite essential. Patients' satisfaction is the primary factor which becomes the image benchmark of a community health center. Up to now, patients' satisfaction is measured in the conventional way, namely by writing on papers. The use òf paper certainly makes it hectic when the time for data compilation and analysis processing is due. To overcome this problem, the researcher developed a website-based information system (SISKESAN) to measure patients' satisfaction level at Maubesi Community Health Center. SISKESAN was developed based on website, to make it easy whenever and wherever the data is to be accessed. The system employs Service Quality Method (Servqual) to measure patients' satisfaction level using hope and fact values. To set up this system the researcher made use of Waterfall Method known as measurable gradual stages. By implementing SISKESAN at Maubesi Community Health Center, the patients' satisfaction level becomes easier in measurement. Patients can easily access the website and fill in the questionnaires prepared in the system. The result can be straightly seen by the staff in charge and it will become the benchmark for future policy making.
Yoana Fransiska De Cantal Salu, Darsono Nababan, Krisantus Jumarto Tey Seran Copyright (c) 2023 Yoana Fransiska De Cantal Salu, Darsono Nababan, Krisantus Jumarto Tey Seran https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://ejurnal.methodist.ac.id/index.php/methoda/article/view/2326 Sun, 31 Dec 2023 00:00:00 +0700 MDR PATIENT AND DM WITH CAVITARY FUNGUS BALL DUE TO HAEMOPTOE RECURRENT: A CASE REPORT https://ejurnal.methodist.ac.id/index.php/methoda/article/view/2361
A 53-year-old man was admitted to Drs. H. Amri Tambunan Hospital with complaints of extreme weakness since today, coughing up blood was found 3 days every time he coughed. Right chest pain like stabbing is found 4 days. Nausea is found 3 days, vomiting is found just today, the contents of what is eaten, decreased appetite and weight are found. The patient is currently taking MDR anti-tuberculosis drugs. Physical examination showed chest wall retraction, weak peristalsis in the abdomen. Thorax examination revealed right Koch Pulmonum or right pulmonary TB with right Aspergillosis/fungus ball of right superior lobe. Lab examination showed that the patient was diabetic. Surgical lobectomy was performed to find a mass of 3 cm in diameter, white-white grey-brown in color, spongy in consistency. The diagnosis of aspergilloma was confirmed by microscopic examination. Tuberculosis and type 2 DM have impaired immunity due to insulin resistance, this is exacerbated by malnutrition which results in ineffective absorption of anti-tuberculosis drugs. This condition makes patients susceptible to fungal infections such as Aspergillus sp. Patients need to maintain blood glucose levels and improve nutritional status to improve their treatment prognosis. Lobectomy surgery on the superior lobe of the right lung also promotes a better prognosis in treatment.
Edwin Anto Pakpahan, Annisa Nola Pratiwi, Frisca Indriani Putri, Putri Yana Harahap, Qibran Aziz Gunawan, Anandya Annisa Amri Siregar Copyright (c) 2023 Edwin Anto Pakpahan, Annisa Nola Pratiwi, Frisca Indriani Putri , Putri Yana Harahap , Qibran Aziz Gunawan , Anandya Annisa Amri Siregar https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://ejurnal.methodist.ac.id/index.php/methoda/article/view/2361 Sun, 31 Dec 2023 00:00:00 +0700 KONSUMSI VITAMIN C DAN ZAT BESI PADA ANEMIA DEFISIENSI BESI https://ejurnal.methodist.ac.id/index.php/methoda/article/view/2364
The prevalence of iron deficiency anemia in Indonesia is around 57.1% and often occurs in adolescent girls. However, the problem faced is that the availability of blood stock is often depleted during urgent situations, resulting in the inability to fulfill the hospitals' blood requests. Therefore, as a solution to address the challenges faced by non-profit organizations, the development of an information system for predicting blood stock requirements is necessary to determine whether there is a need to replenish the blood stock in the following months. In this research, the developed blood stock prediction system implements the Fuzzy Mamdani method. The research results indicate that the Fuzzy Mamdani method, in predicting blood stock requirements, has achieved a satisfactory level of accuracy. It can be concluded that midwives' perceptions regarding the implementation of EBP-based midwifery care still vary. Efforts are needed to increase midwives' knowledge and skills about EBP, as well as provide easy access to sources of scientific evidence and create a culture of practice that supports EBP.
Rahayu Ningsih, Ricca Nophia Amra Copyright (c) 2023 Rahayu Ningsih, Ricca Nophia Amra https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://ejurnal.methodist.ac.id/index.php/methoda/article/view/2692 Sun, 31 Dec 2023 00:00:00 +0700 PENGARUH INTERVENSI EDUKASI TERHADAP KEPATUHAN IBU HAMIL DALAM MENGKONSUMSI TABLET FE https://ejurnal.methodist.ac.id/index.php/methoda/article/view/2693
Anemia in pregnant women is still a public health problem in Indonesia. One effort to prevent anemia is by administering Fe tablets. However, compliance of pregnant women in consuming Fe tablets is still low. It is hoped that educational intervention can increase the compliance of pregnant women in consuming Fe tablets. This research aims to determine the effect of educational intervention on the compliance of pregnant women in consuming Fe tablets. This research design is quasi-experimental with a pre-test and post-test design. The sample for this study was 60 pregnant women who were divided into two groups, namely the intervention group (30 people) and the control group (30 people). The intervention group was given education about the benefits of Fe tablets, the correct way to consume them, and side effects. The control group was not given education. Data were analyzed using the t-test. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the intervention group and the control group in terms of adherence to consuming Fe tablets (p-value = 0.001). In the intervention group, the proportion of pregnant women who adhered to taking Fe tablets increased from 20% to 80% after the educational intervention. In the control group, the proportion of pregnant women who adhered to taking Fe tablets did not change (from 20% to 20%). In conclusion, educational interventions can increase the compliance of pregnant women in consuming Fe tablets.
Riana Angriani, Fitriani Bancin Copyright (c) 2023 Riana Angriani, Fitriani Bancin https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://ejurnal.methodist.ac.id/index.php/methoda/article/view/2693 Sun, 31 Dec 2023 00:00:00 +0700
