Along with rapid innovation, complex ethical challenges have emerged, particularly regarding data protection and user privacy. This paper examines the ethical implications of the application of AI in the IT context, with a focus on how IT professionals can navigate the moral dilemmas that arise from the collection, processing, and use of data at scale. We analyze existing ethical frameworks and identify the need for new guidelines to ensure the responsible and ethical development and implementation of AI. The ultimate goal is to provide practical recommendations for IT professionals, organizations, and policymakers in addressing ethical challenges in the AI era, in order to maintain public trust and ensure individual rights.
2025-12-27T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Syarifuddin, Arpan Mualief Saprizal, Risky Pebriana, Tira Margaret, Liliana Swastinahttps://ejurnal.methodist.ac.id/index.php/methoda/article/view/4741Pengaruh Aplikasi Pupuk Kandang Sapi dan ZA terhadap Pertumbuhan serta Hasil Bawang Merah (Allium Ascalonicum L.) pada Ultisol2025-12-21T13:49:13+07:00Jaramel Hotmatuah Purbadapejel.rait@yahoo.comAgnes Imelda Manurungdapejel.rait@yahoo.comBilter Siraitdapejel.rait@yahoo.com
This study aimed to evaluate the effect of cattle manure and ZA fertilizer on the growth and yield of shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.) cultivated on Ultisol soil. The experiment was conducted in Medan Selayang, from January to April 2024, using a two-factor Randomized Block Design (RBD) with three levels of cattle manure and four levels of ZA fertilizer. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance followed by Duncan’s multiple range test. The results showed that cattle manure at a dose of 30 g per polybag significantly increased fresh bulb weight per plot, but had no significant effect on plant height, leaf number, other bulb yield parameters measured. ZA fertilizer significantly affected leaf number and stored bulb weight per plot, but showed no significant influence on other growth and yield traits. The interaction between cattle manure and ZA fertilizer showed no significant effect on all observed parameters.
2025-12-27T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Jaramel Hotmatuah Purba, Agnes Imelda Manurung, Bilter Siraithttps://ejurnal.methodist.ac.id/index.php/methoda/article/view/4482Analisis Sentimen Masyarakat terhadap Isu Pemalsuan Ijazah Joko Widodo di Media Sosial X Menggunakan Metode Naive Bayes2025-12-13T23:02:26+07:00Teresa Martuah Purbacresa3814@gmail.comNicolas Elsada Lahagunicolaslahagu@gmail.comKarolus Doweng Kotenkaroluskar509@gmail.comRichard Agung Orlando Beruturichardberutu5@gmail.comJumita Yohana Hutagalungjumitahutagalung06@gmail.com
The alleged diploma forgery case involving Joko Widodo attracted great attention on social media, especially on the X platform. This research aims to analyze people's association with the issue by utilizing the Naive Bayes algorithm. The data used in this study consists of 1,000 tweets obtained through web crawling techniques based on certain keywords. The dataset is divided into two segments, 80% used for training data and 20% used for testing data. Of the 800 data used for training, 299 tweets (37.4%) showed positive sentiment, and 501 tweets (62.6%) showed negative sentiment. The remaining 200 tweets were used to test the model. The Naive Bayes model was then trained with the training data to identify existing sentiment patterns, and then tested with the test data to assess its classification accuracy. The findings of this study indicate that negative sentiment is superior to positive sentiment regarding the issue of Joko Widodo's diploma forgery. This reflects the public's tendency to respond to politically sensitive issues in the digital world. The Naive Bayes method proved to be quite powerful in classifying text-based public opinion with high accuracy, so it has the potential to become a tool in mapping public views on socio-political issues.
2025-12-27T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Teresa Martuah Purba, Nicolas Elsada Lahagu, Karolus Doweng Koten, Richard Agung Orlando Berutu, Jumita Yohana Hutagalunghttps://ejurnal.methodist.ac.id/index.php/methoda/article/view/4703Perancangan Sistem Informasi Antrian pada Puskesmas Munte Berbasis Web2025-12-21T12:57:16+07:00Katarina Eteta br Gintingkatarinamunte02@gmail.comRimbun Siringoringorimbun.ringo@gmail.comRoni Jhonson Simamoraronimor4@gmail.comEva Julia G. However, at the Munte Community Health Center, the patient queuing process is still carried out manually by recording names in a registration book, which leads to various issues such as long queues, disorderliness, and delays in service delivery. This study aims to design a web-based queue information system to improve service efficiency, facilitate the registration process, and streamline patient calling. The development method used is the waterfall model, which includes the stages of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The results of the study produced a queue information system that enables digital patient registration, patient data management, and automatic patient calling based on sequence, with access through a local network and an interface designed to be simple for staff to use. Testing shows that the system functions well, reduces patient waiting time, and improves service flow. Thus, this web-based queue information system is expected to support the provision of more effective, efficient, and comfortable healthcare services at the Munte Community Health Center, as well as promote the realization of digital transformation in healthcare services.
2025-12-27T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Katarina Eteta br Ginting, Rimbun Siringoringo, Roni Jhonson Simamora, Eva Julia G. The research aimed to explore how the integration of Wordwall as a digital learning tool could enhance students’ engagement in the English classroom. This study applied a qualitative Classroom Action Research (CAR) design conducted in one cycle, consisting of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The participants were 29 students from class X-F. Data were collected through observation sheets, and documentation. The findings revealed that the use of Wordwall successfully improved students’ engagement across cognitive, emotional, and behavioral dimensions. Students showed greater focus, enthusiasm, and behavioral engagement in learning activities. Therefore, it can be concluded that Wordwall, as a digital learning tool, plays a significant role in fostering a more interactive and engaging English learning environment.
2025-12-30T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Rachel Mujahid
