Pengaruh Perilaku Impulsif Terhadap Kecenderungan Nomophobia Mahasiswa

Nomophobia or no mobile phone phobia is a person's excessive fear of being away from gadgets. One of the influencing factors is nomophobia, which is impulsive behavior. This study aims to examine the influence of impulsive behavior on nomophobic tendencies of students in the pastoral counseling study program at the Kupang State Christian Institute. This research uses quantitative methods. Data collection tools used an impulsive behavior scale using the Impulsiveness Scale Version 11 (BIS-11) and a nomophobia scale using the Nomophobia Questionnaire (NMP-Q). The respondents in this study were 89 students in the pastoral counseling study program aged 19 -21 years at the Kupang State Christian Institute. The data analysis technique uses simple linear regression analysis. The results of this study prove that there is a positive and significant influence of impulsive behavior on nomophobic tendencies with an F value = 18.782 and a p value = 0.000 at R Square = 0.401. This means that the effective contribution of the impulsive behavior variable to the tendency to nomophobia is 40.1%, meaning that the higher the impulsive behavior, the greater the tendency to nomophobia.

In contemporary society, YouTube addiction in children under five has become an increasingly troubling problem. The purpose of this study is to solve the addiction problem and provide solutions that can be applied in the workplace. A modified SEIEdR (Suspectible-Exposed-Infected-Education-Recovered) model for YouTube watching addiction behavior is used. Identifying assumptions and parameters, creating mathematical models, finding equilibrium points, calculating the basic reproduction number (R0), conducting model stability analysis, and performing simulations using Maple software are all methodological processes. The main findings show that if R0 < 1, the addictive behavior of watching YouTube will decrease over time and will become endemic. In addition, the individual rate values of active and novice viewers who are educated have a significant effect on reducing the population of novice and active YouTube viewers. These simulation results improve our understanding of the dynamics of YouTube viewing addiction and offer practical solutions to this problem.

Indonesia is a country that has advantages in the agricultural sector which has the largest plantation and agricultural areas in ASEAN, one of which is oil palm plantations. Indonesia is one of the largest crude palm oil (CPO) business players in the world. More and more palm oil mills and oil palm land are being converted to oil palm cultivation, because oil palm plantations are more beneficial for farmers and palm oil processors. Palm oil plantations are still trying in several ways to maintain stable market demand, one of which is by increasing palm oil production, because palm oil is the main source of other product derivatives. Palm oil production fluctuates every month, but the ups and downs are caused by many factors, namely climate, rainfall, soil fertility, selling prices, and others. Reduced production has a direct impact on the income of farmers and workers in the sector, which in turn can cause economic instability. Actions are needed to ensure the continuity of this industry, one of which is by making predictions. One prediction technique is the Backpropagation artificial neural network. The prediction model can provide very accurate estimates of palm oil production at the provincial level. By analyzing historical data, this research can identify patterns that can help predict future palm oil production. The urgency lies in the strategic role of palm oil in the Indonesian economy.

This research aims to explore the challenges faced by Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) teachers in improving student morale at Ali Imron Middle School in Medan as well as the role of parents in shaping children's morals. The research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that PPKn teachers face challenges such as lack of appreciation from students, impaired focus due to students' naughty behavior, and lack of family attention towards children. Parents also have an important role in shaping children's morals by not defending children without careful consideration. The implication of this research is the need for cooperation between teachers, parents and the community in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment in order to improve student morality. The contribution of this research lies in further understanding the challenges faced by Civics teachers in certain contexts and the importance of the role of parents in the moral formation of children, which can be the basis for developing more effective moral education strategies in the future.

As the digital age continues to reshape educational paradigms, it is essential to investigate the purposeful integration of media into infants’ lives to enhance language acquisition “Harmonizing Voices” explores how age-appropriate media, such as videos, apps, and interactive content, can complement traditional methods, providing infants with a multi-sensory and engaging platform for language exploration. Today, various strategies are employed to stimulate babies from pregnancy through infancy, with mothers increasingly using media as a tool. This includes playing music during pregnancy and introducing nursery rhymes through media post-birth to create a sensory -rich environment. This study investigates the synergy between the melodic allure of English nursery rhymes and intricate process of a baby’s linguistic development. Digital platforms like YouTube and Netflix offer numerous nursery rhymes, such as Cocomelon and Bebefinn, which are popular among infants. This research aims to evaluate which of these nursery rhymes programs is more effective in stimulating infants and which elicits more positive reactions. Caregivers, educators, and researchers will gain insights into the connections between musicality, language and early cognitive development through this exploration. The study addresses the identification of high quality media content, strategies for joint engagement between caregivers and infants, and the potential impact of media on various facets of language development. By fostering an environment where technology harmonizes with natural language acquisition processes, this research aspires to contribute valuable insights for educators, caregivers, and researchers. The objective of this study is to observe and compare infants’ reactions to two popular nursery rhyme programs, Cocomelon and Bebefinn. Land is an important part of human life. Therefore, the state as the highest organization is obliged to provide people's agrarian rights. However, until now, agrarian conflicts still haunt the affected communities. An example is Pakel Village, Banyuwangi, where most of the area is still controlled by the colonial plantation authorities and Perhutani. The conflict, which started in 1993, then re-emerged in 2012 and continued in 2017 until now. Until now there has been no clear solution and the state has not been able to fulfill its promise. Neither legally nor has it been able to provide a protective umbrella that can guarantee the Pakel community. This research aims to analyze conflict and how strategic communication can reduce agrarian disputes in Pakel Village. The research is descriptive qualitative type. Data collection techniques in this research were obtained through literature study or library research through journal research article sources and online news. The research results reveal several stages of strategic communication that can be pursued in the process of reducing agrarian conflict, namely: (1) consolidating internal parties related to conflict resolution; (2) conducting mediation involving all parties involved in the conflict; and (3) involving stakeholders in conflict resolution. Consolidation is a communication process, where all parties are involved in high intensity discussions. The mediation process is also part of the communication strategy in resolving agrarian conflicts. Through this consolidation and mediation, the government as the guarantor of law and justice or what we can call a mediator can map the point of origin of the conflict, the actors involved, the magnitude of the losses, as well as the strategies and tactics for resolving it.

In an increasingly competitive educational landscape, many institutions are seeking technologies that enhance performance. An academic information system is a system developed to manage academic data using computer technology, transforming academic processes into useful information. This research aims to design a web-based academic information system at Holistic Children Center Elementary School. Currently, the management of academic data at the school is conducted manually using books and Microsoft Excel, which is prone to data loss and inefficient in tracking academic information. The implementation of an academic information system with a centralized database method is expected to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of academic data management and support the enhancement of the school's accreditation. The research methods employed include direct observation, interviews with school officials, and literature studies to obtain relevant theories and methods. The results indicate that the designed academic information system can manage data centrally and structurally, facilitating information presentation for teachers, students, and parents. Additionally, this system can enhance the school's reputation through more organized and integrated data management and simplify the tracking and documentation of alumni.

In today's digital era, electronic trading platforms such as live shopping have become increasingly popular as a primary sales channel for many businesses. Live shopping combines elements of interactivity and immediacy, allowing sellers to communicate in real-time with potential buyers. This study aims to investigate the impact of negotiation techniques used during live shopping sessions on the Shopee platform on increasing sales. Using a quantitative approach, this research collected data from 100 sellers who actively used live shopping on Shopee for six months. The negotiation techniques analyzed include tactics such as limited-time offers, progressive discounts, and responsive direct interactions. The results of the statistical analysis indicate that the effective use of negotiation techniques significantly increases sales volumes. This research provides new insights for online sellers on how to optimize their sales strategies and suggests that training in negotiation techniques should be an integral part of the seller's preparation to maximize their sales potential on live shopping platforms.

Findings indicate that strong and technology-oriented leadership can inspire innovation and transformation in EGS, facilitate community involvement, and enhance public service efficiency. Managerial and policy implications are outlined to support the sustainable development of EGS in Medan City.

The purpose of this research is to investigate the role of social media in spreading bullying and discrimination, particularly through the Menfess UB Twitter account at Brawijaya University, Malang. This research aims to understand the extent to which social media influences students towards bullying and awareness of respecting diversity to prevent such behavior. This study uses a quantitative method, including using an online survey to answer the questions. The results indicate that while social media can be a tool for negative behavior, many students are aware of its impacts and understand the importance of diversity and respect. However, instances of bullying and discrimination still occur, highlighting the need for more effective preventive measures.

Waste management policies require cooperation between implementing agencies such as district, sub-district, village and community governments. Hierarchical coordination between implementing agencies is required to facilitate the flow of information. qualitative method with descriptive study research type. The data collection techniques used are observation, documentation, interviews which are also supported by relevant references. This research method adopts a qualitative approach which involves in-depth analysis of the data. Tegal Regency has technological limitations, which affect the effectiveness of the waste management system. Only one sub-district has a waste shredding machine, and there are limitations. The conclusions that can be drawn from the problems that researchers have studied. Overall, the implementation of waste management policies in Tegal Rejo District is still not optimal.

Esports is an official sports branch in Indonesia, as stated in the results of the KONI National Working Meeting (RAKERNA) in 2020, which declared esports to be part of the prestigious sports branch. This is also in line with the establishment of the Indonesian Esports Association (PBESI) as the governing body of electronic sports under the National Sports Committee of Indonesia (KONI). Research results show that the t-value of both variables is below 0.005, and F calculated is greater than F table (570.063 > 2.91). It can be explained that leadership has a significant positive influence on the achievement motivation of esports athletes in the provincial training center (Pelatda) of North Sumatra. Compensation also has a significant positive influence on the achievement motivation of esports athletes in the provincial training center (Pelatda) of North Sumatra partially. Furthermore, it is found that both leadership and compensation have a significant positive influence on the achievement motivation of esports athletes in the provincial training center (Pelatda) of North Sumatra simultaneously.

After the Covid-19 pandemic, Wisma Baptis Bukit Soka Salatiga, which is supported by the Indonesian Baptist Foundation, has plans to establish a new business, Cafe Bukit Soka. This community service activity was carried out to assist the Indonesian Baptist Foundation in observing the establishment of a new business, Cafe Bukit Soka. Observations were carried out by reviewing market aspects using the service quality method while also conducting direct observations in the field. In the survey that has been carried out, service quality indicators are used which consist of physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, guarantee and attention. The results of observations through a market survey obtained 50 respondents who had the perception that Cafe Bukit Soka would provide adequate facilities, be responsive to consumer complaints and desires, reliable in serving consumers, guarantee safety and comfort, and pay attention to every consumer's needs. This analysis was prepared in the form of a report which was then submitted to Wisma Bukit Soka Salatiga to be used as a reference in establishing a new business, Cafe Bukit Soka.

Community-based mangrove forest management is an important approach to ensure the sustainability of the ecosystem and the welfare of local communities. This scientific paper explores the integration of legal, state administration, economic, and accounting aspects in community-based mangrove forest management. By highlighting the importance of cooperation between various disciplines and compliance with regulations, this scientific paper seeks to provide a comprehensive framework for managing mangrove forests effectively and sustainably. The results of the discussion of this scientific paper are 1. The importance of the legal aspect to educate the public about the potential for conflict and customary law that applies among the community in the management of mangrove forests, 2) in the aspect of administrative science, it is necessary to accommodate the social response of the community to the regional regulations that are made, 3) The economic aspect is the need to educate the community in empowering mangrove forests in producing economic value such as ecotourism and processing of mangrove forest resources that can have economic value, 4) The accounting aspect is by suggesting the application of the mangrove kite concept, namely by involving 4 elements in the management of mangrove forests, namely: Government, Academics, Community and Private. BO'Coffee is a business in the culinary sector where every day there are buying and selling transactions which of course record all types of sales transactions. The operational system used still uses manual methods which are considered vulnerable to errors in ordering and payment. This research uses the Laravel framework based on the prototype method. The aim is to increase operational efficiency through digitizing transaction processes and stock management. The prototype method was chosen because of its ability to develop iteratively and be responsive to user needs. The designed application offers convenience in managing transactions, monitoring inventory and real-time financial reporting. Test results show significant improvements in transaction time efficiency and data accuracy, supporting more effective decision making, the application functions well in all aspects tested, and all expected features can operate in accordance with the design and specifications that have been determined.

Until now, waste management is still a major problem, almost every region experiences this problem. Along with population growth and community activity levels. The research method used is qualitative research with several interview techniques. From the results of observations that have been carried out directly in the field by researchers and the results of interviews with the Village Head and several residents of Bandar Khalipah village, information can be produced that in Bandar Khalipah Village, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra, even though the village government has tried to implement the policy the public to encourage citizens to care about the environment by managing waste properly and correctly is still not implemented well. The public policy implemented by the village government in providing waste management infrastructure in Bandar Khalipah Village was attempted several years ago but has not been implemented well due to several existing factors. The unavailability of TPA (Final Disposal Site) is one of the triggers for many village communities continuing to throw rubbish carelessly, such as in rivers, roadsides near ditches and on empty, uninhabited land.

Fourier series has the ability to decompose a periodic function into a collection of sine and cosine wave sums. Another way to express a function into an infinite series is with the Maclaurin series or Taylor series but both of these series require that the function must have the first derivative, the second derivative and so on of the function is defined at its expansion point and there must be no discontinuity value at that point. However, the advantage of the Fourier series is that we can decompose the function into an infinite series containing the sum of sine and cosine terms even though the function cannot be differentiated and has discontinuity at some points. The Fourier series equation of an analytical function is obtained by first finding the values of the Fourier coefficients using analytical integrals. In the case of functions formed from numerical data that are assumed to have a periodic pattern, the Fourier series formula that uses analytical integrals to find its Fourier coefficients can no longer be used so that the numerical approach using the Trapezium method is an alternative that allows us to find the Fourier series equation for a periodic function expressed numerically. We use 12 points as the basis for the calculation in the Trapezium method to approximate the Fourier series numerically. This paper presents a numerical approach to solve the problem.

Access to clean water in Silima Banua Village is a quite complex problem. The government then carried out construction of community drinking water reservoirs. After construction was completed, research was carried out on drinking water reservoirs. This research examines the impact of the construction of drinking water reservoirs on the availability of clean water, public health and the quality of infrastructure in Silimabanua Umbunasi Village, South Nias Regency. Data was collected through surveys, interviews, and field observations to analyze changes in access to clean water before and after development, its impact on public health, and the physical quality of water reservoirs. The research results show a significant increase in the availability of clean water after construction, which positively affects public health. Apart from that, the physical quality of the water reservoir is assessed as meeting established standards. Community participation, local government support, and drinking water quality were also identified as important factors in the success of this project.
